Tape Reviews My daughter Ally loved "What's Wrong
with Telling a Lie and Pet Detectives Pinkie and Binkie." The
stories were easy to follow with character building moral lessons
built in. She listens to the tape over and over again. I have two boys, ages 7 and 4. We spend
a lot of time in the car together - back and forth to school, grandparents
home, and church. One day after 15 minutes of continuous knock knock
jokes, I put Damita Shaw's children story tape on. To my surprise
and peace of mind, the jokes stopped immediately, and they actually
listened to the both stories without any interruptions. I am not
sure if it is music, the various character voices, or the stories
themselves, but the tape totally held their attention. Not only
were the tapes entertaining, but they also taught valuable lessons
about the importance of telling the truth and the negative consequences
of stealing. We repeatedly play the tapes, and the boys still enjoy
them. |
