This read-along booklet is accompanied with a CD or audio tape. There are two original stories on the CD/audio cassette that are narrated by the author and is accompanied with musical sounds by Leisa Brown to engage any listener!
"What's Wrong With Telling A Lie?" is a delightful, audiocassette for preschool through third grade children. This story combines four of Jaime's, the main character, highly imaginative episodes into one exciting and adventuresome story. It tells of Jaime running from a tiger and jumping into a bear's arms for safety, and a wolf jumping out of the bushes to try and eat Jaime's pet snakes, and how his socks danced around the room, making him late for school. Jaime declares all of these episodes to be true. In the end, Jaime really tries to tell the truth, but his mom doesn't believe him. He then recognizes the importance of telling the truth.
"Pet Detectives Pinkie and Binkie: The Case of the Missing Pie" is a wonderful story for preschool through third grade children as well. This story allows children to follow along with P. D. Pinkie and Binkie as they use their investigative skills to find the missing pie. Some dynamic events happen along the way as they eventually discover Hip Hop Rabbit stole the pie. In the end, they learn that stealing is not cool at all and it's always good to choose right over wrong.
