HIV/AIDS Workshop

Based on a true story, Can Broken Wings Still Fly? raises the awareness of teen pregnancy and HIV/AIDS. Nationally, 50 percent of new HIV/AIDS cases are among young people ages 13 to 24, according to the Center of Disease Control. As leaders of today, we have to invest in our future. Our teens and young adults are precious commodities-let's make sure they are around to be a part of the future!

I am a Red Cross certified HIV educator. I have an HIV/AIDS presentation that is $150 with a minimum purchase of twenty five books (price varies on location.) My presentation is usually 30-40 minutes for boys and girls ages 12 and up. In the presentation I cover the facts about the disease and focus a lot on the most effective ways to not contract the disease; abstinence, hugging, holding hands, and using a combination of brains and Bible sense. The presentation is designed to get the audience actively involved and allow them to have fun while they learn.
